WHAT IS XAIR

X Air is a two-day action sports festival that has been a cornerstone of New Zealand's action sports scene since 2000. The event has fostered the growth of some of the country's biggest names in action sports while also hosting world-renowned athletes from around the globe. With a legacy of showcasing top-tier talent in Skateboarding, BMX, Scooter and Rollerblade, X Air continues to push boundaries, blending high-energy competitions with immersive fan experiences. The festival has evolved into a must-attend event, celebrating both the grassroots talent of New Zealand and the global action sports elite.

X Air is on Anzac Weekend, April 25th and 26th 2025 Mercury BayPark Stadium, 81 Truman Lane, Mt Maunganui, New Zealand Gates open Friday and Saturday 8am
HOW MUCH IS XAIR

CAN I PURCHASE A CHILDS TICKET?

Tickets are the same price for all ages. As the Mercury Arena at BayPark is a seated venue with limited capacity, every person will need to purchase a ticket, unless your child is under the age of 3.
DOES MY XAIR TICKET GET ME INTO D1NZ?

General admission X Air tickets do not get you into D1NZ. If you want to watch D1NZ and the Monster Trucks as well as X Air, you need to purchase the Mega Pass.
CAN I TURN UP AND RIDE OR SKATE AT XAIR?

Short answer is no. X Air is an invite only event - you will not be able to ride the course unless you are on the invite list. Please leave your skateboard, BMX or scooter at home and enjoy the event.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE AT THE EVENT?

Yes, we will have a great selection of food and drinks with an array of food truck vendors on site, along with the cafe in the Mercury Arena.
HOW DO I APPPLY FOR A MEDIA PASS TO FILM XAIR?

We currently have all our media partners confirmed for the 2025 event. If you would like to take photos or film at XAIR, you will need to acquire accreditation and be approved by our media team. If you would like to apply, please contact us via the link at the bottom of this page, with your name, company details (if any) and who you are filming for and we will get back to you.
